I have photographed a lot of weddings over the past 7 years and this was unique even fore me! The bride an groom prepared for their wedding at a villa around 20 mins away from the ceremony location. This is fairly rare here in Turks & Caicos, most of our couples get ready at the same location as the ceremony and reception venues.
When it came time the Pastor asked: “who has the rings?”
Silence.
Best man looks around, groom looks around and the bride starts to giggle. Oh dear. It seems the rings where left all the way back at the villa! Thankfully the couple took it in their stride, laughed it off and the parent’s offered up their wedding rings to use for the ceremony.
Well, that was a first!
