David and Amanda O’Connell have been residents on Turks and Caicos for many years. Working at Ashcroft Primary in Leeward, David and Amanda certainly enjoyed life on the island raising their two daughters. David actually managed our first rented apartment in Leeward and I also got to know him playing touch rugby. It was a big decision for him to take up a headmaster role in Abu Dhabi and move the family half way across the world, but David has done this before when he moved the family from Singapore to settle in the Turks and Caicos. It now seemed like the right time to say au revoir to the Turks and Caicos Islands and look forward to their newest adventure.
As a parting gift , the O’Connells were given a family portrait voucher from Brilliant studios by one of their close friends. I was only too delighted to shoot some portraits at their home before moving down to their local beach at Leeward. I trust the Turks and Caicos hold many happy memories for the family, and I hope their images will remind them of the happy times they spent here while making more in their new home.
