For a family who enjoy their diving and snorkeling, the Turks and Caicos islands is a perfect destination. Although having traveled throughout the Caribbean, it was the entire family’s first time on the island. Sarah and Mark Turner were also after a family portrait session in the Turks and Caicos. With their son, Myles, growing up as quickly toddlers do, it was the perfect excuse for us to meet them at Sunshine House in Cooper Jack for their much anticipated family portrait session. We were joined by Sarah’s parents Lisa and Craig and her brother Ben with his wife Joanna.
With the beach being close, but somewhat of a walk down a narrow path, we decided to do the entire shoot at the house. It was both mine a Kellie’s first time at Sunshine House, so we arrived a little early to do a site recce to establish where the best light would be to conduct a family portrait session. It didn’t take long to find some nice open shade to utilize while we waited for the setting sun to become a little more softer.
With a vantage point set quite high up, the views of the surrounding area is quite spectacular. The star of the show however was undoubtedly young Myles, who although won’t remember his first time to the Turks and Caicos, will always these images to remind him of the paradise he shared with his family.
