It is the season for large family gatherings and it doesn’t come much larger than 32 people in one family ! We’ve helped with many weddings smaller than that! Capturing a group of 32 in an hour shoot takes special skills and we decided that both David and myself would help. Given the nature of the requests for specific formal groups, ie the big group shot, grandparents with the grand kids, the grown up kids, sub families, kids only, couples it does leave less time for more candid moments, however we still need to make every shot look relaxed and get those great expressions.
Its a rare moment in time when everyone is together and the pictures will only get more valuable as time goes on.
