The Middle Caicos Valentines Cup is an annual event that local people, expats and tourists alike get to enjoy here in The Turks and Caicos Islands. Bambara Beach is located on Middle Caicos which entails a bit of a journey to get to from Provo. There is a ferry service from the island of Providenciales to North Caicos run by CARIBBEAN CRUISIN’ which takes around 30 mins. You then need to either catch the Valentines Cup bus or hire a car ahead of time in order to get from North Caicos, over the causeway, to Middle Caicos. The drive will take around 40 minutes. Be sure to full up on gas at the station nearest to the ferry as Middle Caicos only has one small gas pump and you don’t want to be left high and dry on the side of the road! Even if you have kids, we took our 8 month old baby along, you should add a trip over to these lush islands to your “things to do in Turks and Caicos” list. Don’t forget your cell phone and sunscreen… enjoy!
