Although most of our shoots are at sunset, we also like to take advantage of the morning light on the island. The island is generally calm first thing in the morning, before the day has had a chance to stir too much. Newlyweds Jennifer and Daniel Sorensen also wanted to take advantage of the the island in the morning while enjoying their honeymoon in the Turks and Caicos, and arranged for an a.m. Beach Escape. As requested I picked them up at the the lovely Royal West Indies where we did a few shots in the resort before making our way to a couple of the nearby beaches in the area. As the sun rises in the sky we get blessed with the ocean slowly revealing its turquoise splendor. The light may be getting brighter, but the ocean certainly benefits from the sun being overhead. I was therefore not too surprised to see Jennifer and Daniel back at Leeward beach after the shoot enjoying the ocean in complete solitude. Not too many better ways to enjoy your honeymoon.
