The wedding of Monica and David at the Alexandra Resort

A few weeks ago I was very fortunate to photograph the beautiful destination wedding of Monica and David at the Alexandra Resort.

Monica and David looked for other possible islands to celebrate they destination wedding but they finally decided that the Turks & Caicos Islands were the perfect location.

Their Wedding ceremony took place on Grace Bay beach just a few feet away from the very calm turquoise waters these islands have to offer.

Monica and David and all their guest enjoyed of the wedding reception on the Alexandra Resort beach deck.

A fun destination wedding at the Alexandra

Sometimes, you only need to spend a few minutes with a wedding couple to know it’s going to be a fun destination wedding to capture. This was my first impression after my first meeting with Lorin and Jabin at their resort.

Lorin and Jabin wanted to have a low-key wedding somewhere in the tropics that’s not too crowded, and after looking around they decided that the Turks & Caicos Islands were the perfect place.

The Alexandra resort located in the heart of Grace Bay was their choice to have their wedding ceremony and a few days of relaxation before heading back home.  Their wedding ceremony took place on September 27 on Grace Bay beach. And a little bit of rain early in the afternoon that didn’t stop everyone from having an awesome time.

Their wedding reception took place on the decks of Mango Reef restaurant.  Alex was the wedding planner and she did a great job coordinating and helping with all the planning before and during their wedding.

Here are a few images from their wedding day….
