Turks and Caicos Islands, Kaelyn’s first photo shoot, but probably not her last !

Jamie and Kelley are helping us with a project we are working on (more to come on that ;-)) so we arranged a quick early morning shoot on a Saturday morning. Kelley has already been up since 6am feeding the horses at Provo ponies and Kaelyn and Jamie and the dogs were also bright eyed and ready go!

Twenty five minutes later after much discussion on solar panels, solar power and other green stuff  – oh yes and a few moments taking shots of Kaelyn as she started to crawl and roam around the house – we had what we wanted…wow what a cool baby  and family…love it! Next time the beach?

Turks and Caicos Islands, Aquamarine House, What a lovely family group!

With four kids under the age of 4, grow up kids, grandma, a busy diving schedule, dinner to be made, sunset disappearing behind the clouds and a windy beach it was business as usual for Turks and Caicos.

Life is like that, who has four hours to primp and prep for a shoot (like a model?) – so we set a date with Susan and her clan and wow what a great bunch of people and the kids were amazing…

Turks and Caicos Islands, Keisha and Sam engagement shoot

As the Turks and Caicos Islands slowly makes it’s way into the busy season with Thanksgiving and Christmas looming on the horizon, many people are thinking further afield. The last few weeks have been a flurry of activity with several couples visiting the Turks and Caicos Islands to plan their destination weddings for 2012. It’s well worth that extra effort (and expense) as nothing replaces that firsthand knowledge of seeing venues, checking out locations and meeting those people that can help on your special day.

It was delightful to welcome Keisha and Sam to the islands, to bring them to the studio and chat about their wedding – what fun they have planned !! A quick – literally 20-25 minute shoot on the beach was all that was needed..great people.Read More »Turks and Caicos Islands, Keisha and Sam engagement shoot

Turks and Caicos Islands, Parrot Cay, Dana and David’s Wedding

Parrot Cay and the Sanctuary has to be one of the top five wedding locations in the Caribbean. We always get excited when we are going to help with weddings there.

Dana and David’s wedding was very intimate, cocktails on Thursday, a rehearsal dinner poolside on Friday and then the wedding and reception for 30 people at the Sanctuary.

With Nolie and her team from the hotel, environmental arts supplying the flowers, Shenique  for hair and makeup and William John as DJ they had the right people for the job !

Castaway Picnic – perfect for your Parrot Cay Wedding

Nolie, the Hotel manager and I were chatting at a recent Parrot Cay wedding about a new service they are offering –  a  castaway picnic – Parrot Cay style. I always love it when I hear about new experiences and activities that hotels are thinking up. It’s so creative and fun ! But this is Parrot Cay,so I knew this wasn’t going to be a cooler with some sandwiches and a 6 pack…when you entertain movie stars and billionaires and have a whole private island to play with, its was going to be something special. Could I take some pictures…yes!
