Brian and Stacy had very specific ideas about their wedding and their wedding photography when we met. The first was that they wanted to see the resort – they wanted Amanyara and its beautiful architecture to feature in the pictures – or at least some of them !
Well it was ! It was stunning! I was helping Paul and Suzanne and there 7 year old son Max with a fun family shoot (again a lovely family staying at the Beaches Resort) and during the shoot we were lucky enough to have a simply gorgeous sunset….fantastic!
Over spring break and even more recently we’ve been getting several calls from families staying at the very popular beaches resort. Whilst they have their own “on-site” photographers, families have been calling wanting something”more” than just snaps on the beach or around the pool. Beth and the rest of the gang did just that and what fun it was too !! With nine in the group we all piled into our company van and headed out. It’s so great that we can do this!
A perfect sunny evening, a vivid blue ocean and hardly a cloud in the sky. Add in three cool kids – Catherine, Anna and Hayden and a couple of kid wranglers (aka parents) and you have all the ingredients of a great time.
Simple, elegant, relaxed, fun – these were all the words that Tonya and Craig used to describe how they wanted their wedding at the Gansevoort, Turks and Caicos to be. A destination wedding in Turks seemed to fit the bill and the elegance of the Gansevoort resort was a perfect backdrop with some added help from Teresa at Tropical Destination Management.
In May 2007 I did a photo shoot with the Alaimo family and last week they were back in Turks and Caicos for another great family vacation. This time though they had an addition to the family, not to mention one on the way too!! Whilst we did their last family photo shoot on the beach at Grace Bay Club, this time they were staying at the brand new all-inclusive Veranda (operated by the Grace Bay Club).
Lovely couple, a great group of friends and family, one of the top resorts in Turks and Caicos and weather that just got better as the wedding went along made for a great wedding day this past weekend. What more could you ask for!
