Kelly and Dion were married in Turks and Caicos in 2008 and I helped them with their wedding. It actually feels like a couple of years ago not seven ! It was wonderful to get an email from Kelly asking to have a beach portrait shoot whilst they were visiting this summer. We organized it all and I popped over to their villa to get a few pictures and be introduced to the kids (!) before we headed back over to the Grace Bay area for the actual photos. It’s really special to be asked back again and to help capture people’s lives and seeing them evolve through the stages from engagement shoot, to wedding to family pictures. So we did a few “formalish” ones, we hung out, we jumped, ran, dug, smiled, laughed, chased, swung, joked and finally ended up in the water. So great to see the kids jump in and have a blast.Read More »Time for a beach portrait in Turks and Caicos
We’ve had several requests recently for a few senior pictures whilst also helping with a family photo shoot. This makes perfect sense as the Turks and Caicos makes a stunning location for both and who wouldn’t want TCI as a backdrop to some really unique looking senior pictures?Read More »Fun senior pictures in turks and caicos.
A big majority of our family portraits are booked from families staying in some of the beautiful resorts located in Grace Bay, but more and more often we are getting bookings from families staying at private rental villas.
This past June 11th I met with the Nockerts family at Villa Camilla. This private beautiful villa is located near the end of Grace Bay making it a great spot for photographs.
For the first part of the session we did some photos in the shaded areas of the garden and then we moved to the beach. Everyone had a great time especially the kids who had a blast playing and running near the water.
Here are some of the highlights of their photo session…
The Bouge family came to the Turks & Caicos not only for a relaxing vacation but also for a double celebration – the birthday and college graduation of their daughter Caroline.
In order to capture some great memories of their trip the family decided to book one of our afternoon portrait sessions at their resort. So, on May 10th, I met with the family at the beautiful Grace Bay Club Resort where we started with some photos around the property. Once the sun started it’s descent, we moved to Grace Bay beach where we enjoyed the last thirty minutes of beautiful and warm sunlight.
It was the perfect ending to a fun session with a great and very pleasant family. Here are some images of their shoot.
Most of our family portraits are normally taken on Grace Bay beach where lots of the hotels are located, but sometimes we get booking from families staying at private villas.
Shannon Howell contacted us a few weeks before she was headed for the Turks and Caicos with her family. She wanted to capture some family photos during their stay which also coincided with her father’s birthday.
For the portrait session, we met at Sunset Point Villa where the family were staying. This villa is located near the beautiful beach of Taylor Bay where we did most of the family photos.
The two young kids, Eden and Emory, were the ones making everyone smile and laugh during the entire photo session!
A beautiful sunset was the perfect way to end their family session. Here are a selection of images from the shoot.
Erica Magnier and her family have had many special photo shoots with us. The first one, in 2009, was a maternity session when Erica was pregnant with her first baby daughter Sylvie.
Since then we have photographed Sylvie as baby, a toddler and a two-year-old and just recently we did another special shoot…Sylvie as a big sister-to-be! Erica and her husband Pierre are expecting their second child and this one is going to be a baby boy.
Sylvie loved putting her face very close to her mum’s tummy to try and listen for any sounds of her little brother! It was great fun seeing Sylvie running and playing around with her parents on Grace Bay beach. The whole family are all very excited about the arrival of the baby and Sylvie can’t wait to have a brother to play with. I look forward to taking more photos of the family of four!
