Family photo shoot Turks and Caicos

A fun Turks & Caicos family portrait

One of the many things I love about doing photo shoots here on the Turks & Caicos is that we get the chance to meet people from all over the world.

About a week I ago I had the pleasure to do a beach portrait session with a family from British Columbia.

The Modde family were staying at Beaches Turks & Caicos.  Because they wanted to get some photos taken outside their resort they decided to book one of our Beach Escape sessions.

During the two hour shoot we went to couple of my favorite spots to take photos here in Providenciales – Blue Hills and Sapodilla Bay.

The kids had a great time playing with conch shells, petting “potcakes” and running in the shallow waters of Sapodilla Bay beach.

The Miller Family

Photographing family portraits is something that we really enjoy doing. It doesn’t matter if we have to capture a large or a small family group, they’re always fun and different.
It’s also fun to meet again with families that we have photographed in previous years. For the second time, Anita and I met with the Miller family at the Villa Oceana located at the beautiful beach of Sapodilla Bay. It was great to see everyone again and to meet the newest addition to the family, baby Miller.

Like we did last time, we began with photos around the villa and then went to Sapodilla Bay for some beach shots until we ran out of sunlight!

A family portrait at The Alexandra Resort

Easter week is always a busy period in the Turks and Caicos and here at Brilliant / tropical we have been busy taking family photo shoots.

One of the families I photographed last week was the Weathresbee family.  This wasn’t the first time that they had photographs taken with us, but this time they have a new addition to their family – their nine month son Reid.

For the session we meet at The Alexandra Resort where they were staying about an hour before sunset. We started taking some photos in the resort Gardens and then moved to the beach where the kids had an awesome time running and playing near to the water.
