Cherie & Ken trash the wedding dress after their destination wedding in turks and caicos

A few weeks ago I photographed one of the must fun weddings I have done this year.

I really enjoy doing photo shoots with couples around the island, but I love it even more when I get the chance to take their photo underwater. čÖé ┬áMOre and more couples choosing to have a┬ádestination wedding in turks and caicos are opting to have a trash the dress shoot as well.

Cherie and Ken got married at Beaches Turks & Caicos, but for their wedding photos they wanted to do something a little different outside their resort.

First we went to capture images with beautiful beaches with blue water and sky, and then to Blue Hills for some colorful buildings with a “Caribbean” flavor.

The last part of the shoot was the most interesting. We drove to the Northwest Point area, one of my favorite places to capture beautiful sunsets, and we were not disappointed! The access gate to the beach was closed, so we had to walk a ways to get to the water, creating a little adventure for us before the big finale. But it was well worth it.

We saved the underwater sunset photos for last. This was my first attempt at underwater photos at this time of day, and I was blown away with the results.
