Caribbean wedding with a wrong forecast

A Caribbean Wedding with a wrong forecast can be good, just not so good for Tony and Brandy on their wedding day. They were here months ago for an engagement shoot and the weather was typically Caribbean perfect. Blue ocean, sunny and all that good stuff. Together with Teresa from Tropical DMC they planned their wedding around these perfect wedding conditions. Ceremony on the beach, reception on the beach, you name it. Tony and Brandy wanted to do a first look and take all family photos before the ceremony so they could spend more time with their guests at the cocktail party, great idea! Little did we know, how lucky we were,  that we did all family photos around the Windrose Estates in nice and sunny weather. The Windrose Estates is paradise for photography, the ocean backdrop with palm trees, we love it.  Tony was waiting on the beach for Brandy to walk down the aisle and within minutes the weather changed. Dark clouds, very windy and rain, lots of rain,  like in a tropical storm. The arch fell down, tables wet, glasses falling over and it took a lot of guys to put the side panels in of the tent. Many brides ask us ” What if it rains on my wedding day ” First of all, you make sure you have an amazing wedding planner. Secondly a photographer willing to shoot a few more images on another day and last but not least, you relax, have another rum punch and think about that wonderful person that your are going to marry today. At Tony and Brandy’s wedding, we never heard even one complaint, the spirits were high and everybody was just happy to celebrate this wedding day together with family and friends. And looking at the photos, what a fantastic day! We loved the Windrose Estates, the very professionally done first dance, the sparklers and guests dancing in the rain around the bonfire. Tony and Brandy we would like to wish you all the love and happiness in your lives together and they do say if it rains on your wedding day it is for good luck.
