Dee and Paul mixed Western and Hindu traditions for their wedding at Seven Stars Resort here in Turks & Caicos. One of Dee’s family members conducted the ceremony which was a little bit longer than the typical beach wedding that we have here. It made for some interesting shots, slightly different to the norm. I loved how the Indian woman wore their sari’s again for the wedding day. If you haven’t already checked out the super colourful rehearsal dinner at Opus just scroll down to the post before this one.
Dee and Paul opted for a First Look. This is where the bride reveals her dress and sees the Groom prior to the wedding ceremony. It works out wonderfully as we are able to get a private moment between the couple, some shots of the two of them as well as photographing all of the family groups up in the pretty, shaded, gardens. After the ceremony it means that the only shots that need to be done are the couple’s portraits and then everyone can go and enjoy cocktail hour with the bride and groom having time to mingle with their guests too.
Congratulations to Dee and Paul. You only need to look at the reactions and wonderful emotions during the speeches to know how much love these to have for one another and their families!
