Neil and Katie make a lovely couple it’s true, but what really made this ceremony special was the custom adhered to of a traditional Persian wedding…with a dash of Turks and Caicos flavor of course. I love witnessing how different cultures celebrate their union together by acknowledging their roots. Although living in New York, it was important for this beautiful pair to have friends and family witness their commitment to each other with a sense of Persian tradition. It was decided that a Persian wedding at Mother’s House would be the ideal occasion.
With a table set full of ornate Persian paraphernalia, an uncle preparing typical Persian cuisine on the barbecue, enthusiastic aunts and the ambiance brought together with a breath of Middle Eastern music drifting through, the stage was set for a truly colorful celebration.
