Paige and Trev have been coming to the Turks and Caicos for many years and they knew this was the perfect island for a destination wedding.
A few months before the wedding, I met with Paige and Trev to do their engagement shoot around the island of Providenciales and it was a blast. Knowing the island quite well, they were already familiar with the two most beautiful beaches that I took them to – Leeward Beach and Taylor Bay.
The wedding day
After lots of planning and emails with their vendors, it was time for the big day. Mary from Nila Destinations was key in getting everything to come together for a perfect Turks and Caicos destination wedding.
To best suit their needs, Bride and Groom decided to have the wedding ceremony at Blue Haven Resort and the reception on the croquet lawn of the Somerset Resort in Grace Bay.
The First Look
Paige and Trev got ready separately in the aforementioned resorts and once Trev had made it over to Blu Haven, they kicked off with a ‘first look’. This took place by a gazebo in a private, quiet area at the end of the property.
The Ceremony
Taking place on the beach at Blue Haven, surrounded by the resort palm trees, the ceremony was beautiful. After some photos with friends and family, we went back to Leeward Beach, the same spot where we did the engagement photos, to catch the sunset.
The Reception
After a few cocktails at Blue Haven, the wedding guests were transported to the Somerset Resort to begin the celebrations. Here, the croquet lawn was elegantly decorated with string lights and flowers. After the Father-of-the-bride’s speech, everyone took to the lawn for an evening of dancing under the stars.
