Wedding weekend at the Palms

This wedding weekend at the Palms started of with a welcome dinner at the Pool Deck at the Palms with a casual BBQ, while listening to the sound of the Caribbean Steel drums. A magnificent sunset in the back, some wonderful food prepared by the Palms Resort, tropical evening temperatures and spending time with your family and friends, who flew in from all over the world to celebrate Matt and Iryna’s wedding. It does not get any better than that! On the day of the wedding the ladies from BCakeNy were putting together a very special surprise wedding cake for Iryna. Matt arranged to have this NY based Cake Company build a cake matching a Mayan temple. They both went on a romantic holiday to Guatamala and they visited this temple, so a cake with a beautiful memory. On the day of the wedding they had flown in a string quartet who played rock music and they were something special, never heard a string quartet played rock like that before, a great musical choice. Not to mention our local Junkanoo band spiced up the activities by joining the wedding at the cocktail hour and they really got the party started. A very musical wedding weekend at the Palms for sure and last but not least DJ Dayoh took all the guests at the reception into the early hours of the morning.
