Celebrating a new arrival.

Rebecca and Brian have been visiting Turks and Caicos for several years now. It’s how Turks works. It’s easy for it to get under your skin and its’s just a great fit for families. The combination of direct flights, ten minutes from everything, your own villa in turks and caicos on the beach with its own pool (Five Turtles Villa) and a beach that was empty when we visited it earlier this week just before sunset – gorgeous…what’s not to love about that !  For us it was great to catch up with this lovely family again, see how much they have grown over the past 18 months and also meet one year old Patrick  -the latest addition. A great afternoon playing in the sun. Perfect.Read More »Celebrating a new arrival.

Maegan and Michael’s Beaches Wedding

With such a significant date for the wedding 11.12.13, this was always going to be a memorable wedding. Maegan and Michael had an amazing group for friends and family at the Beaches Resort for their wedding day. We worked out timings with them, co-ordinated with the resort and  everything was just as it should have been – a wonderful day, such a fun group. Love the father daughter dance and its break out moves at the end and never thought I’d end up chatting with an old family friend about his work on Star Wars, movies and  35mm film lenses he has..what a fun time.Read More »Maegan and Michael’s Beaches Wedding

Summertime family fun on the beach in Turks and Caicos

Another villa shoot ! Just along the beach from the wedding we just posted on the blog is another lovely villa called Villa Mirabelle. With two families vacationing together  in Turks and Caicos and kids aged between 15 months and 13 we had both Craig and myself pop along to help out with this sunset shoot. With cool kids, lovely families and a gorgeous villa we were soon having fun using the palm tress and hammocks spread around the villa. Then down to the beach as the sun slowly made its way down towards the horizon and finally set right over the water. The shoot was over in the blink of an eye and then everyone decided to run into the ocean !!  Love that!Read More »Summertime family fun on the beach in Turks and Caicos

Engagement 0009

Turks and Caicos Engagement

An engagement in Turks and Caicos is a favourite things for us to do. The anticipation of the big day, meeting and hearing all the plans – it’s such fun. I had a great chat and meeting with Lana and Tim last night. I picked them up from the Regent Palms and brought them to the studio to discuss their wedding in Turks and Caicos for Oct 2010. It sounds like it’s going to be a very fun destination wedding. Relaxed, low key and with lots of friends to help them celebrate. We talked about the venue, the reception, timings, music ideas and things to do with guests during the wedding weekend.

I also learnt that Lana is originally from Russia, but has been in the US for years. It’s always wonderful to hear couples’ stories and how things came to be. We chatted so long we had to rush a little to get back to the resort to do a “quick engagement shoot” before the sun went down.
