After searching all over the Caribbean for the “perfect” spot for a delayed Honeymoon on the beach, Michael and Shruti picked Turks and Caicos. Wanting to avoid the all inclusive crush and busyness they searched for an intimate villa near the beach. Well they could not have done any better than Villa Capri on Sapodilla Bay. This newly built villa (I saw them go up over the last 18 months or so) is a few foot steps from Sapodilla Bay which is one of our fav spots for photo shoots and offers amazingly calm water and picture perfect sunsets over the water. It was lovely to hang out with the two of them. The shoot was a surprise for Shruti. Great job Michael ! What a lovely evening.Read More »Honeymoon on the beach
Over the last few weeks we’ve had the very lovely pleasure of meeting past couples and families that we’ve helped in previous years. Whilst this happens on a fairly regular basis, we’ve had more than normal over this “spring break” period – what fun ! It’s always great to meet up again, meet new additions to the family and chat about the changes to the island over the last 5, 7 or 10 years. For the Deeb family, we returned to their wedding site at the gorgeous boutique Point Grace Resort. We even managed a quick picture with the Rolls Royce car they used and stood in the very spot, poolside where they said their vows ten years ago. Despite being a little windy on the beach we has to capture a few family groups and moments – it is after all probably the best spot on grace Bay for catching the sunset. The boys were amazing. great fun, happy to play around and did everything with a huge smile – great fun.Read More »Where did the time go – 10 year anniversary .
We are now into the start of “spring break” season with many families visiting the Turks and Caicos. We’ve been helping families with teenagers through to toddlers. Each is different, each is fun, each gives a moment to capture a family as it is right now. We caught up with Angie and her family after a 24hr delay as one of the twins wasn’t feeling so well. With two teenagers myself, the idea of getting them up, ready out the door for sunrise feels daunting. So when we we chatting with Desiree about the best time of day for the light, the beach and other considerations for capturing some family fun on the beach, her decision to go for the “0730” option did make me a little nervous.
