I love walking into a bride’s room as she is getting ready and hearing laughter. The “stressed out bride” is a bit of a cliche in Turks and Caicos. Yes it happens – but in truth it’s rare. Jenny was laughing, having a little wine and chatting away with her mum as Shenique helped her with her hair and makeup. The Sands on grace bay is also a very low key resort that just lends itself to a positive, relaxed vibe. After a ceremony in the gazebo rather than on the beach it was time for a few beach pictures before a lovely reception at Hemmingways.
