turks and caicos

Everyone should have their engagement shoot on a world class beach.

Everyone should have their engagement shoot on a world class beach.

We often forget how nice Turks and Caicos is and of course the world ranked Grace Bay Beach. So helping couples with any type of photo shoot is  a joy to do. It’s even more special when a couple is planning a wedding and it’s the official “engagement shoot”. We love helping couples with the planning and giving them advice on what works well down here in the islands. Planning a destination wedding from afar can be difficult so anytime the bride and groom to be can visit it’s always a worthwhile investment in time and money. We met Chris and Nikki during their site visit for their planned 2015 wedding and showed them around the island, a few resorts and then chatted at the studio. Such a cute couple and with tropical gardens, sea oats and the soft white sand as a “stage” we had fun moving from location to location and capturing a few special moments on their Turks and Caicos visit.Read More »Everyone should have their engagement shoot on a world class beach.

Ashley & Michael Turks & Caicos enagement

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing a very fun and friendly couple, Ashley and Michael from New York.

Ashley and Michael came to the Turks & Caicos looking for the perfect resort and local venders to help them plan their destination wedding for next year. As part of their visit, they came to meet with us at our photo studio where we decided to do a quick engagement session around our beautiful island of Providenciales.

First we took pictures at a couple of my favorite spots in Blue Hills then we ended our session at the beautiful beach of Sapodilla Bay.

The photos were not just of Ashley and Michael though – they brought their cute dog along to the session. He had an awesome time swimming in the water, running on the beach and playing with a ball!

I look forward to shooting Ashley and Michael’s wedding next year.
Here some images from their session….

Dancing with Santa hats – Turks and Caicos Style

This is now the fourth year that we’ve grabbed a bunch of fun loving people to help us welcome in the holidays. Anyone who is willing to wear a santa hat and dance around and have some fun is welcome. This year we had an extra bonus of finding out where Santa takes his vacation, though we had to “hurry him up” so he could catch his flight back to the North Pole and not be late for Christmas !!

A huge thank you to all that helped with this annual bit of fun. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it. Ho Ho Ho !Read More »Dancing with Santa hats – Turks and Caicos Style

Blue Haven Resort “Flash Mob”

It’s a small island and this weekend with the official opening of the “Blue Haven Resort” most of my team were at one point or another at the festivities with family, enjoying the activities. On Sunday alone, Craig, Chanelle,  Kellie and Anita were scouting out the arts and craft show…(more to come on that). One activity that was unusual for the island was a “flash mob”. Having seen the dancers preparing for this during rehearsals – I can tell you they worked really hard to pull this all together and then to do the performance on sand!!!  Well that was a serious workout.  We managed to capture it and thought it would be a fun thing to share…enjoy what I think is Turks and Caicos’s first flash mob??Read More »Blue Haven Resort “Flash Mob”

A Turks and Caicos Halloween

Year after year, Halloween gives a spark to imagination and playfulness – and it’s even more fun with babies. We decided to invite some of Provo’s youngest residents and their mums to our studio on All Hallow’s Eve and the day after for a festive photo shoot. There was no shortage of candy, cookies or crying babes in costume – but they laughed too! A few of our special guests even tried to eat the pumpkins they posed with. They didn’t care if the pumpkins were as big as themselves.

Let’s face it. Can anyone pull off a bumble-bee costume better than a 5-month-old?Read More »A Turks and Caicos Halloween
