Fun Island Escape photo shoot with the Ho family

On March 14th I had the opportunity to meet and to do a fun Island Escape photo shoot with the Ho family.  As this was a photo shoot around the island I first picked everyone up at Grace Bay Club Resort were they were staying and then we went for a short drive to the end of Grace Bay beach.

After Grace Bay we moved to Blue Hills to capture some images around the colorful buildings of the Conch Shack, Sailing Paradise and a beautiful water dock.

For the last part, just around one hour before sunset we drove to the south side of Providenciales were we did some images around the beautiful Taylor Bay beach. This was the  perfect place to end the session as the kids had a blast running and jumping in the water ,plus we had a great sunset.

Here are a few images from the session.

A trash the wedding dress at Grace Bay beach

Just a few days after I photographed the wedding of Kelly and Eric  Band at the Sands Resort we met once again but this time was for a fun ‘trash’ the wedding dress around some of favorite spots on the island.

For the first part of the shoot we went to Leeward beach to capture some images with the newly wedding couple with the amazing turquoise waters and the white sand beaches that the Turks & Caicos are so famous for as the perfect background.

Grace Bay beach was our next stop, here is where Kelly and Eric got to practice some of their underwater skills for the ‘trash’ the wedding dress, and they did an awesome job!

Here are a few images from their morning session…

A family portrait in Blue Hills

A few weeks ago I had the great pleasure to do a fun family portrait in Blue Hills. The Danics family used to live in the Turks & Caicos but moved back to Canada last year. During this visit to the islands, they decided to use a Gift Certificate for one of our photo shoots that they were given as a present before they left.

For their hour session they decided they wanted something a little different than photos on Grace Bay beach. I thought Blue Hills was the perfect location for some colorful photos with more of a rustic background that can be found in this area.

For the first part we took some photos with the small colorful shops at Sailing Paradise and then went next to the Conch Shack where we took some photos with some of the big Casuarina trees.

Here are a few images from their session…….

The wedding at the Seven Stars Resort

I first met Inara and Daniel during a quick engagement shoot in December 2014 in Blue Hills.  It was a very fun session; I got to know them and got a good idea of what their destination wedding was going to be.

Almost a year later after their last visit to the Turks & Caicos we met once again but this time it was to capture their destination wedding. The Seven Stars Resort was the chosen property to celebrate this very important day.

Their wedding ceremony took place on December 5th on the beautiful Grace Bay beach where fifty family members and very close friends came all the way to celebrate with their special day.  Teresa and her team from Tropical DMC did an outstanding job with the planning and preparations for an awesome wedding.

Inara and Daniel’s wedding reception took place on the Seven Stars beach deck where everyone had a blast dancing under the stars. Here are just a few images from their wedding day…

The wedding of Joyce & Ethan

A few weeks back we had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of a very fun couple at the beautiful resort of the Palms, Turks & Caicos.

We first met with Joyce and Ethan a few days before their wedding to discuss the last few details and timings for their especial day. I knew right away that this was going to be a great wedding to capture.

The wedding ceremony took place on Grace Bay beach next to the Palms Resort where Joyce and Ethan got ready. Around fifty family members and very close friends made it to the Turks & Caicos Islands to celebrate this special day with the bride and groom.

The wedding reception took place on the croquet lawn where everyone had a blast, especially the small kids who took over the dance floor, making everyone join in!

An underwater trash the dress shoot

I love photographing weddings and families portraits but the “trash” the dress shoot is one of my favorites, especially when we get the change to do underwater photos.

Ewelina and her husband Chris got married at the Seven Stars Resort and they decided to use our services for the “trash” the wedding dress shoot a few days after their wedding.

For the first part of the session we drove early morning to Leeward Beach to get some images with white sand and beautiful turquoise waters that makes the Turks & Caicos so popular.  For the second part we drove to Blue Hills to capture some images at the Conch Shark Restaurant and the old dock.

Smith’s Reef was our final destination for the underwater “trash” the dress. Here are a few images from their photo shoot….

Aaron’s first photo shoot at the Sands Resort

After talking a few times to Ri-Ann  from the Sands Resort concierge about her new beautiful baby Aaron Alexander, we decided it was time to have his first professional photo shoot.

Before doing the shoot we discussed possible locations and finally decided it would take place in the same resort that Ri-Ann works at. Aaron is only for months old so we needed beautiful gardens with plenty of shady areas and the Sands has just that.

Just before sunset we moved to Grace Bay beach to capture mother and son before we ran out of sunlight. We took some great shots with an incredible sunset.

A big Thanks to Ri-Ann and her beutiful son Aaron Alexander Edwin Sutton for posing for our cameras.
