Planning a destination wedding in Turks & Caicos

Stacey and Brian and her parents came to the islands looking for a hotel and vendors to help them with planning their future destination wedding in the Turks & Caicos for July this year.

During their short stay on the island they visit a few hotels but they felt that the Somerset Resort in Grace Bay will be the perfect one for their wedding.

Stacy and Brian will have around 30 guests coming to the Turks and Caicos to celebrate their wedding and to enjoy of a great vacation at the same time.

Last week Anita and I had the great pleasure to meet with Stacey and Brian and her parents for the first time at our office. As part of the meeting with us we had time to do a quick engagement session.

Just about thirty minutes before sunset we went to Leeward beach were did some photos with future bride an groom in on of my favorite beaches in Provo. Stacey and Bryan had fun time during the session, especially practicing  doing a “dipping” 🙂

Turks and Caicos Engagement

An engagement in Turks and Caicos is a favourite things for us to do. The anticipation of the big day, meeting and hearing all the plans – it’s such fun. I had a great chat and meeting with Lana and Tim last night. I picked them up from the Regent Palms and brought them to the studio to discuss their wedding in Turks and Caicos for Oct 2010. It sounds like it’s going to be a very fun destination wedding. Relaxed, low key and with lots of friends to help them celebrate. We talked about the venue, the reception, timings, music ideas and things to do with guests during the wedding weekend.

I also learnt that Lana is originally from Russia, but has been in the US for years. It’s always wonderful to hear couples’ stories and how things came to be. We chatted so long we had to rush a little to get back to the resort to do a “quick engagement shoot” before the sun went down.
