A trash the wedding dress at Grace Bay beach

Just a few days after I photographed the wedding of Kelly and Eric  Band at the Sands Resort we met once again but this time was for a fun ‘trash’ the wedding dress around some of favorite spots on the island.

For the first part of the shoot we went to Leeward beach to capture some images with the newly wedding couple with the amazing turquoise waters and the white sand beaches that the Turks & Caicos are so famous for as the perfect background.

Grace Bay beach was our next stop, here is where Kelly and Eric got to practice some of their underwater skills for the ‘trash’ the wedding dress, and they did an awesome job!

Here are a few images from their morning session…

An underwater trash the dress shoot

I love photographing weddings and families portraits but the “trash” the dress shoot is one of my favorites, especially when we get the change to do underwater photos.

Ewelina and her husband Chris got married at the Seven Stars Resort and they decided to use our services for the “trash” the wedding dress shoot a few days after their wedding.

For the first part of the session we drove early morning to Leeward Beach to get some images with white sand and beautiful turquoise waters that makes the Turks & Caicos so popular.  For the second part we drove to Blue Hills to capture some images at the Conch Shark Restaurant and the old dock.

Smith’s Reef was our final destination for the underwater “trash” the dress. Here are a few images from their photo shoot….

I remember my first  Turks and Caicos underwater wedding photgraphy – trash the wedding dress shoot like it was yesterday – but it was almost three years ago!

We don’t normally find many wedding couples willing to get completely underwater with their wedding clothes 🙂 but when we do we have a blast.

Turks and Caicos trash the wedding dress

After capturing two wedding ceremonies on two different days with Katlyn and Neil, we met once more but this time it was for a very different type of photo shoot; an underwater ‘trash the wedding dress’.

We don’t normally get the chance to capture these types of images very often, but when we do, we love it! Swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Turks & Caicos plus taking underwater photos is just amazing and lots of fun.

For the photo shoot we went to Smith’s Reef near Turtle Cove Marina. The water that day was flat calm and super clear…add to that a good looking couple and you have the perfect combination for some beautiful images!
