An inquisitive ten month old and a soft, white sandy beach with gently rolling waves. A perfect scenario for a family shoot and what a “beach baby” Landon turned out to be. Ten months is a great age for a baby shoot. Old enough to sit on their own , but not quite yet walking and running around – you can place them in the sand and they will sit for a while before starting to crawl and explore. Such fun! Despite being on west coast time we started early in the morning and played in the always lovely grounds of the Sands Resort before moving over to the beach. A little playing in the sand and then the “surf zone” and in what seemed a blink of an eye it was over and “nap time”. What a great start to the day !
It’s always a very special time when we have returning clients visit us in Turks and Caicos. Last week Christine and Ruben brought their lovely new baby Ava for a “baby on the beach” photo shoot. A couple of days ago we helped the McDonald family with a simple quick family photo shoot at the Regent Grand to celebrate a birthday. A couple of phone calls to set up everything and then a relaxed 45 minutes or so as we chatted and slowly made our way down to the beach. expectations of a photo shoot are often that it will be intense or almost “invasive’ in some way ! Whilst it’s never total comfort being in front of a camera we were able to put everyone at ease and make the whole experience. fun with some great smiles and moments from everyone. We know this family, like so many, fell in love with Turks and Caicos and we cannot wait to see them back again. maybe an underwater safari or trip to North Caicos is on the cards..fun !! Helping with senior pictures in Turks and Caicos is always a fun thing to do and we did just that for the White family last week. A few quick pictures at their resort – The Sands on Grace Bay and then we went exploring and used some of our favourite locations around Providenciales. What a great time, we chatted, we checked out the island and even took some time to get some local cracked conch and a couple of rum punches along the way.
