On March 14th I had the opportunity to meet and to do a fun Island Escape photo shoot with the Ho family. As this was a photo shoot around the island I first picked everyone up at Grace Bay Club Resort were they were staying and then we went for a short drive to the end of Grace Bay beach.
After Grace Bay we moved to Blue Hills to capture some images around the colorful buildings of the Conch Shack, Sailing Paradise and a beautiful water dock.
For the last part, just around one hour before sunset we drove to the south side of Providenciales were we did some images around the beautiful Taylor Bay beach. This was the perfect place to end the session as the kids had a blast running and jumping in the water ,plus we had a great sunset.
Here are a few images from the session.

Elizabeth and Alex’s wedding at Grace Bay Club was a perfect summer day in Turks and Caicos. It was much more than just a “quick ceremony on the beach and done” as so many elopements around the Caribbean can be. With a beautiful island to explore, we helped Elizabeth and Alex capture some really lovely moments in some gorgeous settings around the island. While we’ve helped with weddings for 400+ over multiple days, its these elopements and “Island Escape” shoots that often give us as photographers the most flexibility and time. In a way I wish we had this much time and fun with all our couples. All too often its a rush from the end of the ceremony before the last light fades with the sunset. It was fabulous to hang out with this great couple and soak in some Turks and Caicos sunshine and sea breeze whilst we moved from spot to spot capture some special moments. We are entering our peak family photo season for Turks and Caicos as schools in the USA start to have graduations and break for the long summer holiday. Catching up with Jennifer and Andrew and their two boys last week on their first visit to Turks at the Grace Bay Club was a lot of fun. It’s always great to meet people who have never been here before and listen to what they (love!) about the island. It’s amazing to me after being here almost 20 years that it’s still the same key ingredients – the beach, the water, the people. The boys clearly loved it. Full of energy as are all 6 and 9 year olds we ran, jumped, played and told bad jokes. We hung out on the beach and waited for the sun to dip down and probably got a little too wet and sandy for the dinner reservation afterwards, but we had a blast! I’ve never seen such cool “high kicks” – these guys were true ninjas!
