OK probably not that much compared to those that live north of us in more temperate locations, but when it only rains as little as it does here (think dessert) we tend to notice it…a lot. Susan and Steve’s Grace Bay Club wedding was right in the path of Tropical Storm Bertha last weekend. All the forecasts from Wunderground, Weather Channel, Yahoo all put the rain to start right as the ceremony was due!! Welcome to August !! As it turned out the storm slowed down and the weather was sunshine and clear skies. Both Susan and steve took all this extra “stress” with remarkable panache and focussed on the ceremony and bringing their two families together. Mom’s, brothers, sister and grown kids on both sides they made the day fun, unique and a perfect destination wedding – low key, relaxed and surrounded by the people they care most about. Kara and Ryan’s Grace Bay Club wedding was a low key, fun destination wedding with a ceremony a few feet from the turquoise water. A champagne toast on the beach surrounded by close family before heading up to the restaurant for a simple dinner kept things easy and relaxed. Love the outfits of the kids walking down the beach and the gorgeous tropical sunlight we have made for some dramatic shadows on the balcony overlooking the ceremony site. Shenique as always did an outstanding job and Shameka from Grace bay Club kept everything and everyone in line and on time as always.
