It’s a small island and this weekend with the official opening of the “Blue Haven Resort” most of my team were at one point or another at the festivities with family, enjoying the activities. On Sunday alone, Craig, Chanelle, Kellie and Anita were scouting out the arts and craft show…(more to come on that). One activity that was unusual for the island was a “flash mob”. Having seen the dancers preparing for this during rehearsals – I can tell you they worked really hard to pull this all together and then to do the performance on sand!!! One of the many things I love about doing photo shoots here on the Turks & Caicos is that we get the chance to meet people from all over the world.
About a week I ago I had the pleasure to do a beach portrait session with a family from British Columbia.
The Modde family were staying at Beaches Turks & Caicos. Because they wanted to get some photos taken outside their resort they decided to book one of our Beach Escape sessions.
During the two hour shoot we went to couple of my favorite spots to take photos here in Providenciales – Blue Hills and Sapodilla Bay.
The kids had a great time playing with conch shells, petting “potcakes” and running in the shallow waters of Sapodilla Bay beach.

Another villa shoot ! Just along the beach from the wedding we just posted on the blog is another lovely villa called Villa Mirabelle. With two families vacationing together in Turks and Caicos and kids aged between 15 months and 13 we had both Craig and myself pop along to help out with this sunset shoot. With cool kids, lovely families and a gorgeous villa we were soon having fun using the palm tress and hammocks spread around the villa. Then down to the beach as the sun slowly made its way down towards the horizon and finally set right over the water.
