A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph a small destination wedding at the Seven Stars Resort located in the heart of Grace Bay.
Rebecca and Shane were originally planning a very small destination wedding in the Turks & Caicos Islands but in the end some of their closest family members decided to join them to celebrate this very special occasion.
On October 10th Rebecca and Shane celebrated their wedding ceremony on Grace Bay beach just a few feet away form our clear turquoise waters. After a short beach ceremony everyone moved back to the Seven Stars for a few cocktails and dinner.
Rebecca and Shane wanted to have a relaxed, laid back, non-traditional wedding and their only special request was for me to capture some sparkler photos. We created some amazing images.

Kara and Ryan’s Grace Bay Club wedding was a low key, fun destination wedding with a ceremony a few feet from the turquoise water. A champagne toast on the beach surrounded by close family before heading up to the restaurant for a simple dinner kept things easy and relaxed. Love the outfits of the kids walking down the beach and the gorgeous tropical sunlight we have made for some dramatic shadows on the balcony overlooking the ceremony site. Shenique as always did an outstanding job and Shameka from Grace bay Club kept everything and everyone in line and on time as always.

Leticia and Damien’s Beaches Wedding was a beautiful picture perfect wedding at the Beaches resort in Turks and Caicos. With lots of family and friends around them it was an emotional time full of tears, laughter, hugs and dancing – just like a wedding should be ! We love to meet couples before they get married in Turks and Caicos as it’s wonderful to get and to get to know them and to hear their “backstory” of “why Turks and Caicos”. We can also share our passion for these islands and give our advice (if needed) on timings, locations, the flow of a wedding and what we’ve seen work well over the years. Our free engagement shoots that we do for all weddings in Turks and Caicos that come down for a site visit are a great way for us to play and let couple’s experience our fun, low key style that allows them to feel relaxed and not worry about the camera. Sam and Elin’s shoot last week was perfect. A few pictures, we grabbed a beer, chatted about the wedding and then set up a few pictures for save the date cards…awesome. Just a day before before capturing the wedding of Ashley and Michael at the Gansevoort Resort, Anita and I had the opportunity to photograph a fun boat trip before the wedding day with bride and groom, and all their friends, with Caicos Dream Tours.
During the four-hour trip, we fished for conch at Leeward canal, snorkeled the shallow reef of Providenciales’s north shore, and had a beach picnic at Half Moon Bay.
Plentiful beer, rum punch and sunshine ensured everyone had an amazing time before heading back to their resort on Grace Bay Beach.
