A few weeks ago I had the real pleasure to photograph a beautiful destination wedding at the Gansevoort Turks and Caicos.
Erin and Alex wanted to have a small wedding somewhere in the tropics with beautiful beaches and turquoise waters, and the Turks & Caicos Islands were the perfect location for them.
For their wedding day bride and groom decided to have their ceremony on Grace Bay beach , just next to the Gansevoort resort where they were staying. After a fifteen minute ceremony and some photos everyone had a very relaxed dinner and cocktails on the beach with the stars and the ocean as an idyllic background
Teresa and her team from Tropical DMC did all the planning and decorations for the ceremony and reception. Here are a few photos from Erin and Alex’s wedding day…..

After capturing two wedding ceremonies on two different days with Katlyn and Neil, we met once more but this time it was for a very different type of photo shoot; an underwater ‘trash the wedding dress’.
We don’t normally get the chance to capture these types of images very often, but when we do, we love it! Swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Turks & Caicos plus taking underwater photos is just amazing and lots of fun.
For the photo shoot we went to Smith’s Reef near Turtle Cove Marina. The water that day was flat calm and super clear…add to that a good looking couple and you have the perfect combination for some beautiful images!
We’ve known Mark and Anna for years and it was wonderful when they asked us to help with their wedding. We knew it was going to reflect there “island roots” and lifestyle, and be low key, charming and fun. It was a true Caribbean wedding with visitors and family flying in from Jamaica and beyond plus a whole host of close personal friends from right here in Turks and Caicos. When you’ve known the bride and groom for year’s its always that much more intimate, more personal, more relaxed and fun. We could mention that the power to the wedding and reception villa cut out as Anna walked down the aisle!!!!!!!! – but thanks to the team at the villa AND the guests present, that wasn’t the main story of this wedding day.Read More »A Caribbean Wedding to remember!
