Hannah and kamau’s trash the wedding dress

Just a day after I photographed the wedding of Hannah and Kamau at the Blue Haven Resort & Marina we met once again but this time was for a ‘trash’ the wedding dress

For the first part of the photo shoot we went for a short drive to Leeward beach were we did a quick few photos and then went to the opposite side of the island looking for clear water for the underwater photos.

When we got to Malcolm’s beach the water wasn’t very calm but it actually made it more fun trying to get some photos of Hannah and Kamau on a bicycle underwater. We first started doing some half and half underwater photos and for the perfect ending we did the full underwater ‘trash’ the wedding dress 🙂

Here are a few images of their ‘trash’ the wedding dress…..

Brady & Wlaa’s wedding at the Beach House

Brady and Wlaa’s Wedding was a wedding I was looking forward to photograph on July 4th at the Beach House Resort.

Unfortunately things didn’t start very well for me as the first day we were supposed to meet to chat about their coming wedding  I ended up in the hospital, but that didn’t stop me from being even more enthusiastic about photographing their  big destination wedding.

Brady and Wlaa had planned a wedding full of cool events with with a pretty big group from all over the USA.  I don’t think I remember ever seeing some many people partying and dancing on a wedding, everyone had a blast!

Their wedding ceremony took place on the beautiful Grace Bay beach and after the Maskanoo parade took everyone to the wedding reception.

Venue: Beach House Resort,  Flowers: Environmental Arts, Wedding Planner: Alex Foster, Make up: Thea Makeup Artistry,  DJ:  DJ Dayoh Wedding Cake: Annie Lee fromscratchtci

Megan and Sergio’s wedding at Ocean Club

When we met with Megan and Sergio before their wedding day in April at Ocean Club, we knew they were just as passionate as we were about their Turks and Caicos wedding photos.

Megan told us she wanted to do a “first look” before the ceremony – a chance for the bride and groom to see each other privately before their nuptials. And Megan got teary-eyed just talking about the idea. It’s that kind of passion that makes our jobs easy.

Megan and Sergio came from Rhode Island to say their wedding vows here in the Turks and Caicos. They had their ceremony at Ocean Club West with 75 guests, with the wedding organized by Tropical Destination Management.

Not only was this couple passionate, but they were fun too. Case in point: Megan ditched the traditional white wedding gown for a light pink one instead.

Your wedding day is what you make it, and Megan and Sergio made it a festive occasion, including everyone in the fun and taking time to enjoy each other in the process. We think the photos speak for themselves.

Venue: Ocean Club Resorts.  Wedding Planner Teresa Brunner from Tropical DMC. Flowers: Environmental Arts. Hair: Geraldine from Beauty & the Beach. Restaurant: Seaside Cafe

First wedding of the year in the Turks & Caicos

A year after Nicole and Erik got engaged here on Grace Bay Beach, they became husband and wife on the perfect day for new beginnings: New Year’s Day, marking the first wedding of the year in the Turks and Caicos.

In 2013, the week before New Year’s, Nicole and Erik were on holiday from Boston when he decided to pop the question with a little help from a conch shell, a national symbol for the Turks and Caicos. Erik placed the ring inside a shell on the beach when Nicole wasn’t looking, then casually picked it up as they walked along the shore. Nicole saw the ring and assumed it had been left for someone else, so she urged Erik to put it back. Little did she know the ring belonged to her, if she said yes. And she did.

And so Providenciales became an important part of their love story. Nicole and Erik decided to tie the knot on the tiny island where they decided to make the ultimate commitment to each other.

The couple originally planned to have their ceremony at a villa, but plans fell through and they thought they’d have to postpone the wedding. But it was a blessing in disguise, as Sibonne came through after a last-minute cancellation. And it couldn’t have been a more perfect place for Nicole and Erik to say “I do” in front of their friends and family.

The wedding was organized by Island Harmony and catered by Bay Bistro. After a small ceremony on the beach, the newlyweds and their guests lit paper wish lanterns to send off into the sky. And an occasion as special and joyous as Nicole and Erik’s wedding could only end one way: dancing on the beach.

Wedding at Beaches Turks & Caicos

After my first meeting with Stacey and Jimmy at the French Village, I knew right away that this was going to be a fun wedding to capture at Beaches Turks & Caicos.

Stacey and Jimmy are both divers and knew that they wanted to have their destination wedding somewhere with crystal clear warm water and great diving. The Turks & Caicos Islands was the perfect place.

Their wedding ceremony took place at the all-inclusive Beaches Resort Turks & Caicos with around 18 of their closest family and friends celebrating this very special day with them.

After the ceremony, I took the bride and groom outside their resort to some of the most beautiful beaches you can find on this island.

Just before sunset, Stacey and Tim went in the water for a ‘trash the wedding dress’, a perfect ending for a couple that loves the ocean.

An intimate wedding for two at Beaches Turks & Caicos

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing the intimate wedding of a great couple at Beaches Turks & Caicos.

Amanda and Matt, who have been together for twelve years, knew they wanted to have a destination wedding somewhere in the tropics and for them, the Turks & Caicos Islands was the perfect location.

Their wedding ceremony took place at the Beaches Resort just a few feet away from the beautiful Grace Bay beach.

Amanda and James wanted to do something a little different and less formal for their wedding photos. So, after their ceremony, I took them to a very secluded beach for a few photos and then we went to one of the best spots on Grace Bay, Smiths Reef, where we ended the session with some underwater ‘trash the wedding dress’ photos 🙂

Yiding & Ben’s wedding at the Regent Palms

The Regent Palms is one of my favorite resorts in Grace Bay to capture weddings. It’s beautiful architecture and lush gardens makes it a great location for photography.

Yiding and Ben fell in love with the Regent Palms and decided that this resort and the Turks & Caicos Islands were the perfect combination for their destination wedding.

Their wedding ceremony took place on Grace Bay Beach on November 24th.  After a lot of planning and waiting for this day it was finally here.

Yiding and Ben had family and friends coming from a long way to celebrate with them, they even had guests all the way from China.

Their wedding reception took place on the lower pool deck of the Regent Palms. This is a beautiful spot with a big dance floor that got a lot of use that night as everyone ended the day having a blast!

Lynn from Nila Destinations was the wedding planner for this very special occasion.

Here are some images from their wedding…..
