Soraya & Zakir’s Grace Bay Club Wedding started off with a relaxed, low key rehearsal dinner on the beach right in front of the resort. The evening was full of family, friends, great food and dancing to steel pan tunes under the stars. . Jennifer and Andrew’s Wedding at Seven Stars Resort was another intimate, fun, family and friends filled affair. A little “wintry” weather also didn’t dampen the occasion despite some strong winds and slightly overcast skies. A beautiful ceremony on the beach, some family pictures in the garden before a couple of cocktails and then a romantic shoot with just the two of them. It was then soon time for the reception, toasts and dancing the night away. Perfect.

Diana and JR’s Wedding at the Sands Resort was a relaxed, family affair on the magnificent Grace Bay Beach and then an intimate reception at Bay Bistro. We particularly loved the dress, the shoes , the save the date and other details as well as a picture perfect sunny day with blue skies. The Sands is ideal for this sort of destination wedding , with it;s relaxed vibe and wide beach. Having Bay Bistro also a few steps down the beach makes an excellent combination and perhaps the “perfect” combination on Gracebay Beach. Alexa and Ben’s wedding at the Beach House was a fantastic wedding. Whilst every wedding we do is special, for us when we have the opportunity to collaborate with other artists it’s just an awesome “vibe” and helps us raise our creativity even more. Being from Nashville, TN was a clue that this would be a “musical” wedding, but we were completely blown away by the talent we experienced not to mention the chicken and gorilla on the dancefloor! Bravo ! Oh and the dress…OMG. Kudos to NILA for helping create another fab event.

We’ve had a “flurry” of returning families and couples this past week which has been lovely. Debby and Patrice were married in Turks and Caicos ten years ago at the Point Grace resort. They have been frequent visitors to TCI over the years and followed our blog so on their tenth anniversary a “Trash the Dress” shoot and a renewal of vows was on the cards. The shoots were on two separate days so we picked up everyone and helped with a few family pictures before they headed off to the Beaches resort for their ceremony and then a few days later we did part two with just the two of them. So great to catch up again. The kids were awesome, the family happy to be driven around to some fun locations and I LOVE the shots of the two of them on Taylor Bay – a special place for them… The waves and wind were not too co-operative for the underwater shots and trying to get underwater in a wedding dress that traps air is a crazy difficult task as times (so I’ve been told!!)

Another fun island elopement from last week. We picked up Lana and Doug just after their wedding at the Beaches Resort to do a few pictures around the island. With only a hour to shoot due to some delays we moved fast and were able to capture some great pictures at the Villa Renaissance’s garden area before going to the beach for sunset.
