Cheryl and Christopher’s Seven Stars Wedding

The combination of a villa and a wedding on the beach at the Seven Stars Resort was a perfect backdrop for Cheryl and Chris’ intimate family wedding. With the goal of keeping things easy, low stress and relaxed this was a perfect wedding for Turks and Caicos.  With Lynne from Nila coordinating and Laura from the resort as well, Cheryl and Christopher and their guests were very well looked after. We started off at Turtle Beach villa with its gorgeous view where both the bride and groom got ready, but with enough space not to see each other before the ceremony. A short ten minute drive brought everyone to the Seven stars resort for the beach ceremony and reception under the stars on the fabulous west deck. Liz & Chris’s wedding at West Bay Club

Liz and Chris always wanted to do a destination wedding. After searching around a few different islands, they found the perfect destination – the Turks & Caicos Islands. A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding at West Bay Club.

Now managed by the Grace Bay Club, West Bay Club is located at the quieter end of Grace Bay, making it the perfect location for a beach wedding.

So at just a stone’s throw from the resort, Liz and Chris celebrated their marriage ceremony on one of the world’s most beautiful beaches and following a few cocktails at the beach bar, they moved back into the resort for the wedding reception.
It was a fun night with great people and lots of dancing and laughter. At the end of the evening, everyone moved back onto the beach to watch a fire dancer performing in the sand.

A "day after" shoot for your turks and caicos destination wedding.

Turks and Caicos destination wedding.

A Turks and Caicos Destination Wedding.  Corey and Glen had their Turks and Caicos destination wedding this past week at the Gansevoort Resort and Corey wanted to have a photo shoot where she could go wild wearing the dress, but still be able to wear it the night of the wedding.

So having had a perfect sunset evening the night before we planned a midday/lunchtime shoot in the awesome bright Caribbean sunshine.

We grabbed some beer in a cooler, bought some cracked conch from a local restaurant along the way and over the next couple of hours made our way around the island.
