With Hurricane Joaquin to the north of us stirring up both the waves and bringing in some clouds and rain, a honeymoon beach shoot was always a little in doubt. Amy and I emailed back and forth during the day and the weather started to clear and we were a “GO”. For this lovely couple visiting the Turks and Caicos for the first time (it will not be their last I think) they wanted to keep it really relaxed, so we did a slightly shorter session for them and just focused on the beach at the Seven Stars resort. Only married a couple of weeks ago they were great in front of the camera and we seemed to spend a lot of the time talking about Scuba diving ! As we waited for the sunset and the odd person walking by, the sky became incredible with ever changing colors. Very little photoshop needed last night. WOW Checkout those sunset pictures – very special. Many congrats to you both.Read More »Amy and Dan’s honeymoon beach shoot.
Just a few days ago I had the opportunity to meet a fun, relaxed couple whose wedding I will be photographing next December 2015 at the Seven Stars Resort.
Inara and Daniel came to the Turks & Caicos for a very short visit to meet with some of the island wedding vendors and to enjoy a quick holiday before heading back home.
As part of their trip they had a meeting with us to discuss some of their wedding ceremony plans. We also took some engagement photos so they had some island memories to share of their trip.
For the photo shoot Inara, wanted to skip Grace Beach Beach and find a spot a bit more secluded with local flavor. We decided that the Blue Hills area was the perfect location for their shoot
Here are a few images from their shoot….
After recently photographing some fairly big weddings here in the Turks & Caicos, it was nice to capture a small destination wedding at the Seven Stars Resort.
Jiamin and Michael spent quite a bit of time looking for the perfect spot to celebrate their wedding day before they pinpointed Turks & Caicos as the perfect location.
Their wedding was small with only 13 people, but they still paid close attention to detail and planning as if it were a huge destination wedding.
Jiamin and Michael chose the Seven Stars Resort on Grace Bay for their stay and wedding day. Laura, the resort wedding planner, helped them with coordination and decor to be sure everything ran smoothly.
They held their wedding ceremony on the beautiful Grace Bay Beach, just a few feet away from our pristine turquoise waters. The reception was held on the resort deck, and after dinner and some dancing, everyone moved back to the beach to roast marshmallows over a bonfire – the ideal ending to any wedding.
The Seven Stars Resort was the perfect backdrop for this intimate Caribbean Wedding. Emma and Kenny with some family expert help had designed a perfect beach wedding with exquisite details, table decorations and additions to the beach ceremony. However even with such a beautiful setting and decor, it was Kenny and Emma themselves that set the tone for this special day. Relaxed, low key, fun everyone was simply happy to be part of this special family and close friends day. Read More »Sunshine, family, laughter and a picture perfect day.
