Turks & Caicos ten year wedding anniversary

A few weeks ago, Amy and Andy Atwood and their two kids came to the Turks & Caicos to celebrate their ten year wedding anniversary. The family came all the way from Canada for their first visit to TCI – a well-deserved holiday in the tropics.

As part of the celebration, they had a very private ceremony on the balcony outside their room with their two kids. The Atwoods booked their session as a beach family portrait.

I met with the family for the first time at The Sands Resort about one hour before sunset.  We started taking some photos around the beautiful lush gardens and before we moved to Grace Bay beach for the last half hour before sunset.

The kids had an awesome time playing with their parents and running on the beach until we almost ran out of sunlight.

Here are some images from their session….

Grandkids and great grandkids – a villa vacation full of fun.

We have the pleasure of helping families when they are at their most relaxed, surrounded by family and all whilst enjoying one of the most beautiful place in the Caribbean. A villa vacation is perfect for multigenerational families and we love the relaxed atmosphere and ability to go anywhere and use anything at the villa for the family shoot.  The Duffey family were staying at the very lovely Villa Mirabelle – which is a  favourite of ours with its location right on the sandy beach at Sapodilla Bay.Read More »Grandkids and great grandkids – a villa vacation full of fun.

What a fun family photo shoot with the Kolaric family.

It was back in 2010 that we helped Kimberly and Bostjan with their very lovely destination wedding at the Villa Renaissance. It actually feel like it was last year!…where did all the time go. It was great to hear from Kimberly that the whole family was coming down to visit Turks and Caicos and even more special for us to do a family photo shoot at the very resort where they were married.Read More »What a fun family photo shoot with the Kolaric family.

Fun family shoot at the Tuscany Resort

We love capturing family shoots at the beach, especially when the kids just want to have fun playing with their parents and running around near the water.

About a week ago, I met with the DiSanto family at the beautiful resort of The Tuscany just an hour before sunset.

As it was still quite bright we decided to start by taking photos around the lush tropical gardens of the resort.

The super fun part was on the beach, where the family had a blast walking, running and playing in the sand until we ran out of sun light!

Here are some highlights from their family shoot at the Tuscany Resort….

The Magnier family portrait at Point Grace

I last did a photo shoot with the Magnier family just a few months before their son Ludovic was born. During that shoot, I took some fun photos of Sylvie trying to hear her baby brother in her mum’s belly, without much success. Last week we met again for another family session and this time it was with the new family member, baby Ludovic. For this session we decided to meet at Point Grace. This little boutique resort located in Grace Bay has some beautiful gardens that are great for family photos before heading down to the beach. This session was particularly special because one set of grandparents were able to join in on the fun. We ended the afternoon near the beach dunes with a beautiful view of the sunset. Here are some images from their family session… Read More »The Magnier family portrait at Point Grace

Dancing with Santa hats – Turks and Caicos Style

This is now the fourth year that we’ve grabbed a bunch of fun loving people to help us welcome in the holidays. Anyone who is willing to wear a santa hat and dance around and have some fun is welcome. This year we had an extra bonus of finding out where Santa takes his vacation, though we had to “hurry him up” so he could catch his flight back to the North Pole and not be late for Christmas !!

A huge thank you to all that helped with this annual bit of fun. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it. Ho Ho Ho !Read More »Dancing with Santa hats – Turks and Caicos Style
