Love and laughter at the Sands on grace bay.

I love walking into a bride’s room as she is getting ready and hearing laughter. The “stressed out bride” is a bit of a cliche in Turks and Caicos. Yes it happens – but in truth it’s rare. Jenny was laughing, having a little wine and chatting away with her mum as Shenique  helped her with her hair and makeup. The Sands on grace bay is also a very low key resort that just lends itself to a positive, relaxed vibe. After a ceremony in the gazebo rather than on the beach it was time for a few beach pictures before a lovely reception at Hemmingways. Soraya & Zakir’s Grace Bay Club Wedding continued with a picture perfect sunny day.  Lots of fun with all the family buzzing in and out of the room as everyone got ready under the supervision of Shenique, followed by a lovely ceremony on the beach with Pastor Padmore. Soraya & Zakir’s Grace Bay Club Wedding started off with a relaxed, low key rehearsal dinner on the beach right in front of the resort. The evening was full of family, friends, great food and dancing to steel pan tunes under the stars. . Celebrating a 1st Birthday on the beach.

Pinali contacted us and wanted a few fun pictures with family and friends to help celebrate her son’s first birthday. Wow. What a great place to celebrate your first birthday at the Villa Renaissance in Turks and Caicos! The trip also combined an engagement/ wedding planning for her sister so with the other couples in tow we used the lovely resort and of course the beach to capture some 1st birthday moments. Beach pictures with three “five and under”.

A family with three “five and under” is never a dull place or quiet. But it’s also fun, vibrant, exciting, joyful and happy. Put everyone on a beach and let them play a little, run a little, jump a little and make noises – YES! We caught up with Maria and Brian at the Villa del Mar and hopped across the short beach access pausing along the way for the sun to dip down and the kids to get into the groove. It was great to see them just play and explore. Beach pictures made easy ! We even had dragon noises 😉

Fabulous family boat trip in turks and caicos

I had a great weekend helping Suzanne and Paul with our signature Castaway Boat shoot. This is a fabulous family boat trip in turks and caicos where you have your very own private boat to go wherever you want.  What a great way to spend the afternoon !! Plus it was also another “repeat” shoot with this lovely family which just makes everything that much easier and fun. We cruised along the islands, found a great beach spot, hung out with some local rock iguanas before then heading out to a cool reef spot for some underwater pictures and snorkelling.
