The wedding of Aleksa & Mark Miller on Grace Bay

About two weeks ago I had the great opportunity to photograph a beautiful wedding at the end of Grace Bay beach.

After our first meeting with Aleksa and her mum Colleen at Villa Byculla, we knew this was going to be a fun wedding to capture. In addition to the regular photographs to be taken on the day, this bride and groom wanted to do some photos around the island and this is something that we really love doing.

On the wedding day Aleksa and Mark did a first look at their villa and then we drove to one of our favorite beaches on Provo, Leeward beach, to capture some of the amazing turquoise ocean colors.

Blue Hills was our second stop where we did some images around some of the older buildings and colorful sailboats that can be found in this area.

After some driving around the island it was time to get back to Grace Bay where their wedding ceremony began.

The wedding reception took place on the beach near Hemingway’s Restaurant. It was the perfect ending for Aleksa and Mark’s destination wedding.

Here are just a few images from their wedding day….

Grace & William’s wedding at the Seven Stars

A few weeks ago I was very fortunate to photograph the beautiful destination wedding of Grace and William at the Seven Stars Resort.

Grace and William came to Turks & Caicos a few months back to check the island for the possibility to celebrate their destination wedding here. After looking to a few other Caribbean Islands they decided that Providenciales was the perfect place, plus Grace Bay was even more especial as the name of the bride is Grace.

Their Wedding ceremony took place on Grace Bay beach under a breath taking driftwood arch,  just a few feet away from the very calm turquoise waters these islands have to offer.

Grace and William and their seventeen guest enjoyed of the wedding reception on the Seven Stars beach deck.

Many thanks to:  Wedding planner Teresa Brunner from Tropical Destination Management. DJ William John. Flowers by Environmental Arts.

Officiant Pastor Howell. Location for ceremony and reception: The Seven Stars Resort.

Brady & Wlaa’s wedding at the Beach House

Brady and Wlaa’s Wedding was a wedding I was looking forward to photograph on July 4th at the Beach House Resort.

Unfortunately things didn’t start very well for me as the first day we were supposed to meet to chat about their coming wedding  I ended up in the hospital, but that didn’t stop me from being even more enthusiastic about photographing their  big destination wedding.

Brady and Wlaa had planned a wedding full of cool events with with a pretty big group from all over the USA.  I don’t think I remember ever seeing some many people partying and dancing on a wedding, everyone had a blast!

Their wedding ceremony took place on the beautiful Grace Bay beach and after the Maskanoo parade took everyone to the wedding reception.

Venue: Beach House Resort,  Flowers: Environmental Arts, Wedding Planner: Alex Foster, Make up: Thea Makeup Artistry,  DJ:  DJ Dayoh Wedding Cake: Annie Lee fromscratchtci

Kit & Tony’s wedding at the Gansevoort Resort

A few weeks back I had the great pleasure to photograph one of my favorite weddings of the year with a great fun couple at the Gansevoort Resort.

After my first meeting with Kit and Tony a few days before their wedding day I knew that it was going to blast of a destination wedding to capture. Bride and groom had planned lots of fun things to do during their special day.

Kit and Tony chose the beautiful Resort of the Gansevoort Turks & Caicos for their wedding and their ceremony took place at Grace Bay beach. Cocktail party and reception took place at the resort beach deck.

Once it got dark we did some awesome night photos with sparklers and because it was almost a full moon, we were able to capture some beautiful images with Kit and Tony and their wedding arch.

Here are a few images from their wedding day…..

An awesome wedding at the Beach House

Andrea and Peter had planned a few activities with their family and friends before and during the wedding.  The first day we met was at the Conch Shack where bride and groom and all their wedding guest enjoyed of a beach dinner and some of the best rum punch on the island.

On their wedding day Peter got ready at Villa del Mar, and Andra at the Beach House Resort where their wedding ceremony was taking place. Their ceremony was at Grace Bay beach just a few feet away from our beautiful turquoise waters.

Their Cocktail party and reception took place at the hotel beach deck where everyone enjoyed some great food, lots of dancing under the stars together with some traditional Greek music.

Here are some highlights from their wedding day….

Kyle and Seana’s Turks & Caicos wedding

Some of our favorite shoots are with clients who love to smile and laugh — so that puts Kyle and Seana’s wedding at the Gansevoort Turks and Caicos pretty high on our list. Like a lot of our wedding clients do before tying the knot, Kyle and Seana had done an engagement session with us back in October. Right off the bat, Seana told me she prefers having photographs that show her laughing and smiling. Nothing too serious. That’s how I knew she and Kyle would be a fun and easygoing couple to work with. Kyle and Seana opted to have a “first look” before the ceremony, which is a chance for the bride and groom to see each other privately before the wedding. It goes against wedding traditions, but we’re not talking about a traditional couple. After their first peek, Kyle and Seana had a small ceremony with 21 guests on the beach in front of the Gansevoort, with everything organized by Mary from NILA Destinations wedding planners. Their family and friends sat in a semicircle around them as they said their vows, giving the ceremony an intimate feeling. And instead of an arch, they opted for two palm trees. Perfect for an island wedding. Kyle and Seana, thanks for always smiling. We wish you many more years of laughter and hope you return to the Turks and Caicos soon!

Parrot cay elopement

Wendy and Michael’s Parrot Cay Elopement

We don’t hide the fact that Parrot Cay is a special place for us. As scuba divers 20 years ago we used to wonder and what the “mothballed” red roofed hotel nestled on the hill high above the beach was really like. Then several years ago Como hotels bought the island and turned it into what can only be called a magical place. Helping with Wendy and Michael’s Parrot Cay Elopement last week was yet again a fun visit to the island and a delight to help them with their special day.Read More »Wendy and Michael’s Parrot Cay Elopement
